Terms of Service

Effective October 7, 2026

These terms govern your use of Megido: the MCP server, the customer portal and this website (together, the "service"). "Megido", "we" and "us" mean the provider of the service. "You" means the organization that has an account with us, and the people it lets use that account.

1. Accepting these terms

You accept these terms by creating an account, by accepting them in the portal, or by using the service. If you accept them for an organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind it. The service is for business use only: do not use it as a consumer.

If your organization has a separate written agreement with Megido, that agreement prevails where it conflicts with these terms.

2. The service

Megido gives AI agents and their users market intelligence about websites: the projects in a niche, their scale, growth, audience, traffic sources and search demand. Projects are anonymous until your organization reveals them. The client guide describes how the service works, what it returns and where its data stops.

We may change, add or remove features. If a change removes something your organization relies on, we will tell you in advance where we reasonably can.

3. Accounts and access

Access is by invitation. Each person uses their own account. You are responsible for:

  • keeping passwords, second factors and API keys secret, and not sharing keys outside your organization;
  • everything done through your accounts, your API keys and the chat apps you connect;
  • telling us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect that someone else uses your access.

We may suspend an account, a key or a connection to protect the service, other customers or you.

4. Credits and payment

Calls are paid for in credits from your organization's balance. Prices, top-ups, invoicing, taxes and refunds follow your agreement or order with Megido. Before a paid call, an estimate returns its price, and the call never charges more than the estimate. Credits spent on completed calls are not refunded.

5. How you may use the data

Subject to these terms, we grant your organization a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the data the service returns to it, including revealed domains and bought profiles, for its own internal business purposes. This right continues for data obtained while your account was in good standing, after the account ends.

You must not:

  • sell, license, publish or otherwise make available the data, or any substantial part of it, to anyone outside your organization, whether raw, reformatted or as a data set;
  • use the data to build or improve a product that competes with Megido;
  • extract the data systematically beyond what your own work needs, or try to reconstruct the corpus;
  • try to identify anonymous projects other than through a reveal;
  • get around prices, coverage, limits, access controls or other protections of the service, or let others do so;
  • interfere with the service, probe it for weaknesses, or overload it;
  • use the service or the data unlawfully, including in breach of data protection, privacy, marketing or anti-spam laws when you contact the people behind a website.

Identifiers in the responses are specific to your organization.

6. The nature of the data

The data consists of estimates and models built from observed signals. It may be incomplete, out of date or wrong for a given project, and the service reports the date and precision of what it returns. It is not financial, legal or investment advice. You are responsible for the decisions you make with it.

7. Your requests

You keep the rights you have in what you send to the service. You allow us to process it to run, secure, bill for and improve the service, as the Privacy Policy describes. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.

8. Our rights

Megido and its licensors own the service, the corpus and the data, including the descriptions, indices, bands and niches. These terms grant you no rights other than those stated here.

9. Suspension and termination

Your organization may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, fail to pay what you owe, or if continuing would expose us or others to legal or security risk. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put things right. Sections 4 to 8 and 10 to 13 survive the end of your access.

10. Disclaimer

The service and the data are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties, conditions and terms not stated here, including those of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

Subject to that, neither party is liable for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Megido's total liability arising from or in connection with the service in any twelve months is limited to the amounts your organization paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

12. Indemnity

Your organization will compensate Megido for losses and reasonable costs arising from a claim by a third party that results from your breach of section 5.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Each version shows its effective date at the top, and the portal asks you to accept a new version before you continue using the service. We may also tell you about a change by email.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms, and any dispute or claim arising from them or their subject matter, are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

15. General

If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stays in force. A failure or delay to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent; we may transfer ours to a successor of the service. No one other than you and Megido has any right to enforce these terms. These terms, with any separate agreement or order, are the whole agreement between you and Megido about the service.
