Market research with AI agents
Know who already gets paid, before you decide
Megido maps the products with observed revenue in any market: how many, how large and in which countries. It sees that visitors pay, not how much.
Ask from Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP client, in the Megido chat, or as a task for Megido's agents.
You: I want to build an AI invoice generator for freelancers. Is its niche already crowded?
search_cohorts1 nicheget_cohortdistributionsPlayers exist. Your idea matches SaaS invoicing platforms, a niche of 50–199 products with observed revenue. 35% of them get over 75k visits a month, and 48% get under 15k. The United States leads with 23% of members, and 48% are growing. Want me to list the small ones closest to your idea?

How it works
1Request access.
Sign up with your work email. We review every request by hand and email you when your organization is ready.
2Ask your way.
Your AI agent.
Connect Megido to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client, or call it from your own code with an API key.
Megido chat.
No agent of your own? Ask in the portal, under Research. It uses the same tools, shows every call and keeps your dialogs.
Tasks for Megido's agents.
Write a brief in the portal, under Agents, and one of our agents does the research and delivers a result for you to accept. The price is set before the work starts.
3Explore anonymously.
Niches and projects come with a description, quality index, scale and growth, but no domain. Reveal only the ones you need named: a reveal holds for 30 days for your whole organization.
4Pay for what you open.
Credits come from your organization's balance. Your agent and the chat pay per call: searching costs little, a reveal or a profile costs more, and any call can be estimated first. The chat also counts its model's work. A task costs the one price you agreed. How pricing works
Megido and the tools you already use
AI web research finds pages that talk about a market. Megido adds the sites where visitors pay, counted by niche, size and country.
Still use it for context, news, prices and features.
Traffic analytics sizes any site you name. Megido adds which sites in a market have observed revenue, including ones you never heard of.
Still use it for traffic history, trends and exact metrics.
Revenue directories show the numbers founders chose to publish. Megido lists hundreds of thousands of sites with observed revenue, published or not, without amounts.
Still use them for revenue figures and the smallest projects.
Questions
Is every player of a niche in Megido?
No. Megido holds only the sites with observed revenue. Free products are not in it, and clickstreams see only part of the payments, so a niche in Megido is a sample of its paying players rather than a census, and a well-known product can be missing. Your agent can check the domains you know to see which of them are in.
How fresh is the data?
Megido is a snapshot, not a live feed: sites were collected on different days, and the data of a project can be a few weeks to a few months old. Traffic is a twelve-month average with the change over the last month.
How accurate are the traffic figures?
They are estimates, not the sites' own analytics, and they come in bands. For small sites, read them as an order of magnitude: they tell a site with real traffic from one with almost none over the year, not 1,200 visits a month from 1,500.
Which AI clients does it work with?
Any client that speaks MCP over HTTP: Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code and others. Chat apps connect by signing in with your Megido account; scripts and tools use an API key from the portal. No AI client? Use the Megido chat in the portal. Connect step by step
Do I need to write code?
No. Ask your agent, use the Megido chat, or give a task to Megido's agents. Developers can call the same server from their own code with an API key.
How long does a reveal last?
A reveal covers your whole organization for 30 days, and so does a bought profile part. While it holds, the project comes with its domain at no further charge. When it lapses, the project turns anonymous, and revealing it anew costs the reveal price. Anonymous and revealed
How does pricing work?
You pay in credits from your organization's balance for the calls you make and what they open, and any call can be estimated first. Prices follow your agreement. Pricing
Who sees my questions?
Megido receives what your agent sends in its calls, such as the description it searches for, and keeps a record of those calls. It never sees your conversation with your own agent. In the Megido chat and in tasks, the Megido team can read the conversation and the brief, and their text goes to the model provider that runs them. Everyone in your organization sees its calls, including who made each one, and its tasks with their briefs and results. Your chat dialogs are seen only by you. Privacy Policy
How do I get access?
Request early access: sign up with your work email and confirm it with the code we send. We review every request by hand and email you when your access is ready. If your team already has an organization, its owner can invite you. Questions: write to [email protected]. Request early access
Ask Megido your first question
Megido is in early access. Request access, or sign in if you already have an account. If your team is already on Megido, ask its owner for an invitation. Then ask from your AI agent, in the Megido chat, or as a task for Megido's agents.
In Claude Code, add the server, then run /mcp and choose to authenticate:
claude mcp add --transport http megido https://api.megido.io/mcp
Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code and other apps, by signing in or with an API key: step by step.
