Anonymous and revealed
Every project in every response is anonymous until your organization reveals it. Revealing the domain and buying a profile part are separate purchases.
| Before reveal | After reveal | |
|---|---|---|
| Card | description, quality index and axes, site type, scale and growth bands, main country, niche | the same plus the domain; after reveal_project also the payment service |
reveal_project | — | domain, year founded, team size range, payment service |
| Audience | bands, no ranks | ranks; exact values with precision: exact |
| Traffic sources | three leading channels and three leading social platforms, in bands | every channel and platform; exact shares with precision: exact |
| Search demand | branded and non-branded split and the reported month | top organic queries; paid queries with include_paid; exact shares with precision: exact |
A reveal covers the whole organization for the number of days in reveal_ttl_days. While it holds, the domain appears in every response. Revealing the same project again neither charges the reveal price nor extends the period. When it lapses, the project is anonymous again.
A lookup_domain hit reveals the project too: by its domain, for the same period and without the reveal price. Such a project is open as if revealed with reveal_project: the domain in every response, audience ranks, every channel, search queries, and exact values with precision: exact for the surcharge. Only the payment service, year founded and team size stay closed: they come from reveal_project, which charges the reveal price even for a project found with lookup_domain.
A bought profile part is held for the same number of days, reveal_ttl_days, counted from its own purchase and independent of any reveal: it can be bought for an anonymous project as well. While the part is held, its tool returns it again without the part price.
